CDC Reduces Covid-19 Restrictions to No Longer Disrupt Our Daily Lives
Vaccine mandates, shut downs of schools and businesses, distance separations, mask mandates, booster shot mandates, mandatory quarantines and mandatory testing are incredibly unpopular and mid-term elections are coming so guess what?
The CDC is changing so now we remove, minimize and change from “mandatory” to “suggested” or “recommended” for most actions associated with COVID-19 and mutation omicron BA.5 dominant at present. The CDC now is telling us we have a ’high level of immunity from both vaccines and infections,” which would indicate there is now recognition that vaccines and natural immunity from antibodies produced and built up in response to actually experiencing the viral infections give us protection in the future to different degrees
Natural immunity that has been present in our individual bodies since birth has been denied and ridiculed almost from the time the government first purchased the COVID vaccine. Do you remember the President in a video told us unequivocally if you took the COVID vaccine you absolutely would not get sick? NOT! Turned out to not be true so the government changed the definition of “vaccine” from preventing a disease to minimizing hospitalizations and mortalities.
The immune-compromised were recognized as more susceptible including those who are subject to aging and comorbidities (two or more chronic diseases at one time). And anything in the form of taking nutritional supplements, monoclonal antibodies, non-vaccine drugs or other potential remedies were called voodoo bogus remedies with no possibility success. Rarely was diet, life style habits, supplements and/or genetics suggested to be influential and/or beneficial.
Today fewer and fewer folks according to surveys have confidence in the ever-changing edicts from the health enforcers with less compliance for boosters and sticking vaccines in our young children who rarely get COVID to begin with in early life.
New CDC guidelines (8/14/22) tell us if you have tested positive, but have a healthy immune system, whether vaccinated or not, you should isolate for only 5 days and end isolation on day six if no symptoms, including no fever in the last 24 hours. If you test negative on 2 rapid antigen tests, you can stop wearing a mask; otherwise too bad – after isolation, wear a mask through day 10.
Until day 11, stay away from those with weakened immune systems or the elderly. If you have a weakened immune system, shortness of breath or were hospitalized before COVID, isolate for 10 days and consult with your doctor before stopping isolation. Good news education, students can now stay in the classroom even if exposed to COVID – the CDC has spoken.
Greta Massetti, a CDC epidemiologist has explained, “High levels of population immunity due to vaccination and previous infection and the many available tools to protect the general population and protect people at higher risk allow us to focus on protecting people from serious illness from COVID.” Thus, the less restrictive guideline.
While 67% of people in the United States are fully vaccinated (CDC), only 48 % have had recommended booster doses and just 30% of children ages 5 to 11 are fully vaccinated. Frankly speaking, vaccinate and boost as suggested but you can also help normalize your immune response nutritionally by regularly taking the nutritional supplement, Beta 1,3/1,6 glucan; an aid to nutritional security for the immuno-compromised (www.betaglucan.org).
